Paul Revere House, Boston

Downtown Boston’s oldest building and one of the few remaining 17th-century dwellings in a large urban area in the United States. Built about 1680, Paul Revere owned the home from 1770 to 1800. Ninety percent of the structure is original. The ground floor includes a typical late-18th–century kitchen. Upstairs chambers contain period furnishings from Paul Revere’s era, including several owned by the Revere family.
