FAQ:

Is there an admission fee for any part of the event?

• No! Entrance to the Yard Sale is free; the games and activities are free; the Toe Jam Puppet Band Concert is free!

Will there be food for sale at the event? Drinks?

• There will be a selection of food trucks/booths at the event. Check out our list of food vendors above!
• Northern Spy Restaurant will be open for dine-in and take-out.
• Alcoholic beverage purchases are available from the Northern Spy Bar (alcohol must be consumed on the Northern Spy premises).

What is the restroom situation?

• There are 4 individual restrooms in the green building next to the parking lot and 2 of them are ADA accessible.

Where can event attendees park for free?

• The Heritage Lot (access behind 60 Coppersmith Way). DO NOT PARK IN THE COPPERSMITH CONDOS PARKING LOT. The lot closes and is locked 1 hour after the event ends, cars must be removed before then. See directions below.
• The Canton Center MBTA station (Parking is FREE during event hours). See directions below.
• You may also park in any marked parking spaces on Neponset Street, Revere Street, and Washington Street.
• If you have a disability parking placard or plate you may use the small lot on-site (4 Rolling Mill Way). There may be Heritage Site staff at the entrance to the lot confirming the eligibility of those parking there.

I bought something big and/or heavy and the parking is far away! What do I do?

• You are absolutely welcome to bring your car to the Site to pick-up any pieces you can’t carry. Cars picking up may only stay for a maximum of 5 minutes. We would be happy to hold any items for you at the Paul Revere Heritage Site Info Booth while you retrieve your vehicle.

Is there a raffle?

• There sure is! Come to the info booth to purchase tickets – help the Heritage Site continue to provide events like this and you may win one of our great prizes to local businesses! Tickets cost $2 each, or get 12 for $20!

What type of items are sold at this event?

• Anything you would find at a yard sale, garage sale, or thrift store is appropriate for this event. This event is NOT intended for crafters who make and sell their own items or business owners/contractors who resell items or sell items on behalf of larger companies.
• You may not sell anything edible at this event unless you have been approved as a food vendor by the event coordinator and you have the proper permitting from the Canton Board of Health.

I am a seller at the event; what should I know?

• Tents for your space are not required, though you are welcome to bring one. If you do bring a tent it must be appropriately WEIGHTED (please do not use stakes as they are a danger to the in-ground irrigation system).
• You may bring your vehicle to the site to unload before the event begins at 11am and to reload after the event ends at 3pm, but during event hours you must park off-site (see the parking directions below).
• You are responsible for pricing your own items, making change for your customers, and holding/tracking your own money, sales, and items. The Heritage Site does not take any responsibility for any items or money that are exchanged with sellers/customers at the event.

PARKING:

FREE parking during the event at the Canton Center MBTA Lot, the new Heritage Lot (behind 60 Coppersmith Way), and street parking on Neponset, Revere, and Washington Streets.

(note: The Heritage Lot gates will be LOCKED after 4:00pm, cars must exit before that)
